Finally got some wood hauled today, both truckers have been having problems. The wood was backing up on the landing we were using so we moved up the hill to the next one. Here's the first load of logs from the new header.
The Grandson cut this load in 2 1/2 hours.
4000bf or a little more, he also hauled 8 1/2 cord popple and 7 cords of firewood. Also had a truck on the lower header and he picked up 14 cords of pine pulp. Still have 20 cord pine pulp and 14 cord of hemlock to go before it snows and I have to plow the road. This section looks like it will be better than the last, got probably 5000bf of logs and only a cord of pulp.
