Todays job with pics

What a beautifull day to do some cuttin. Started this job a couple weeks ago. Fell the first tree and Mark started a thread about it http://www.arboristsite.com/showthread.php?t=126371 . Well today we made it back for the second tree and a stump reduction on the first. This tree had a splitting crotch that was cabled approx ten years ago. Tree has undergone several weight reductions in the past fifteen and has become to much of a liability to the home owner. 42" across and just shy of 80'. Sorry you didn't get in on this one Mark, the ground is thawing fast so we needed to clear it out.

Saved two seven foot lengths for milling practice. Ordered a set up that should be here next week. Hopefully my forearms are rested up by then. The rest will make some good camp fire wood.

Here is some vid. They are long and uneventful at times but that is how a real job goes. I'm not sure where the hoop went. A couple guys asked to haul some pieces so we jumped on the offer.
