This simple little wiring setup is very handy for checking spark on my Homelite '50 saws.

and I'm definitely fond of my holding fixture too. wish I'd made one a few years ago.

Air compressor, far and away. I hate putting away saws at day's end that are dirty and it's a MAJOR pain to work on a dirty one. Second to that is a dental pick set for the tough dirt. I can't pick up another tool to work on a saw unless I've touched these 2 first. Oh and 2 fingers of bourbon when I'm done to "clean" my head up.

The tools I use everyday are
T-27 Torx T handle for Stihl
4mm Hex T Handle for Husky's
Needle Nose Pliers
Cordless drill with extended hex and torx bits, for tearing down a saw
flexible LED pen light, great for checking rubber hoses and looking in cylinders
air compressor
8 & 10 mm sockets and ratchet
Stihl little orange screwdriver

A bench mounted saw stand is really handy; if you've never tried one you don't know what your missing.

Air compressor, dental picks, parts washer, sand blast cabinet, a couple of home made case splitting tools, arbor press, and some long hex keys (allen wrench) cut off to fit in a socket making a very long 1/4" drive hex bits.

Dental picks, very useful get them from your dentist office.

If he'll give you the dull ones for free, you can't beat the price.
These are nice too, my favorite one linked here. I've got the four piece set with the loop hook, 90 degree hook (nice for slipping between a hose and the fitting it's on to loosen it) and straight awl.

I got sticker shock when I saw the current price on the Snap-Ons. Mine have the hard black screwdriver handles and I probably paid $7.99 or something for the set of four, which is now $40.

These do the same job for less $$$,

We used to refer to them as "Strap-On" Tools because you would get bent over if you went out and got on the truck.

A 2 week pill dispenser/reminder from the dollar tree. Fourteen individual compartments that are made so you can scoop out the pills/scews easy. Takes alot of the guesswork out of reassembly, even if you get stuck and have to wait on parts for a long while.

Digital camara and internet connection
