I recently sold my saws & most of my falling gear & planned to buy a new 462r, I had trouble locating one so I called a gentleman that most of you who have bought or sold know, Mr Dalton (Edwad): He had this new Tree Monkey 462r (only test cuts by Scott) is what I was told, I put about a tank and a half through it. It is everything I expected a saw ported by Scott would be! There is a saw that I want to buy that takes me back a few years to when I made a living with a saw, a non m tronic, anyhow I have a like new Tree Monkey 462 that I paid 1500 for shipped, I would like to get that back, 1500 shipped ( will be losing some on shipping). I went out last night an snapped a couple pics of the saw, I will add more and better pics today. The saw I want to buy is a 660r & this little saw will most likely out perform it but it is a nostalgic thing I suppose. I have a 25” light bar on this saw & I suppose we could discuss it as well although shipping a bar is very costly. This is a lot of money for a saw but a saw like this ported by Mr Kunz rarely shows up for sale. It won’t disappoint!!!!

I
Wish you were wanting a 500i, lol
I want one they are nice, I think this saw would chew up and spit out a 500i though, I have my sights on a specific ported 660, I love the m tronic but I used to run husky 390’s & Stihl 660’s when I pulled my little jayco & followed the helicopters & I just want one more. I would consider a new or like new 660r ported by Egan or Urich or similar builder. I am going to the shop shortly and blow the saw off and take some more pics. I am also trying to figure out how to buy this 660 & keep this monkey saw..

Howdy Ted, I wish you had got that 461 several years ago, the 2015 with the mahle cylinder. That was one stout stock saw. When I saw the U.P.S. Truck pull up with this saw I had a bar on it within about ten minutes cutting cookies with a big smile on my face.you need this to knock down your S. D. ponderosa bushes haha.

Everything is more expensive these days, I had about 10 or so saws ported since 2001, the first saw I paid 250 to General Chainsaw in Bellingham Wa, the last one was last year in Wa as well it was 250. I know if a guy puts an unlimited coil on a 461 for example it is more costly & understandably more expensive but the labor involved in porting one hasn’t really changed. Anyhow A Man asked me to give him a few days to come up with the money & I am going to do that. Sold pending funds. Thanks !
