I was told it was recycled motor oil.Is there any truth to that?Baily's has there's on sale 7$ to $8 a gal. delivered.

I just checked on-line and it is on sale @ 2 for $12. I like the 2 for $10 better!

Just did a check on my local tsc (east liverpool, OH) and it's showing 2 for $12 as well.. still a deal.... gonna have to go buy 4 or 5 gallons worth... wish i had the money I'd buy a lot more!

are u guys refering to tractor supply company brand bar and chain oil when you say TSC oil on sale ???? these abbreviations are killing me on this site...lol...and yes I have read through the AS abbreviation dictionary thread...

I went and got 6 gallons today, but before i went i got on their website and all i had to do is give them my email address and I got a $5 coupon for spending $25 or more on a instore purchase, so basically got almost a gallon free.

Is it that good!!

It's amazingly adequate, and cheap!

Perfumed and dyed Bar oil, that doubles as a floor wax and dessert topping, is a myth sold and labeled by Stihl and Husqvarna.

It's just gotta pour outta the jug, then lube and stick.;)

Stay safe!

Anybody use Poulon before? Is that any good? I got an unused container from someone for $0. The price was right, but is it worth using?

One more question, I picked up some winter stuff Essence brand, for $5/gal. Can this stuff be used in Summer or will it heat up the chain/saw too much?

POOOOOlin oil? Makes every sapling a murder victim!!! LOL!

Consensus is that it is the same as Husky summer with Red dye in it, for that bloody chainsaw masscre movie fun. I have run the ####ens out of it here lately burning off a case from last spring. No problems yet, and I kinda like it.

Never heard of "Essense" winter oil. If it's oil, and tacky, run it and see.
If it's thinner than syrup it's too thin or too warm out.
Where does one find "Essence" bar oil?

Stay safe!

The green jugs of Poulan oil that Farm&Fleet carries is very good. Thick, stringy, and tacky but too thick for winter unless you thin it out some. Been on sale for $5.49 to $5.99 lately.
