These are some big ol' red oak rounds I split last week. These are the first pieces that my log lift failed to lift even though I had all my body weight on the lever. The third pic shows the bend in the lever. The fourth shows the amount of wood out of one round. It filled the wheel barrow plus the pile near the front of the splitter.

It's kind of hard to do with a picture on the internet but I think I counted at least 95 rings on that one! When I see something that huge I always think back to all the history it would have 'seen'.

Good Job!

I guess that answers the question if the little TW-P1 can handle large rounds!!
I love my Timberwolf - - - I think it's on of the best out there.
