I have the Echo CS300 for light stuff, windfall, and cutting my "real" saw out of a "pinch". It false starts on the choked first pull-cold. Choke now off, second pull, starts and goes to idle. I let it warm up a minute and then off to work. The little Echo compliments the "real" saw, and is one of the brands sold by my local guy, so parts if needed are avaiable- but not yet! If there is a recommendation everyone will agree upon is to never loan out a saw....either the loanee will send it to the scrapheap, or send themselves to the hospital. If I'm asked to borrow, I'll usually go over and do a favor, as well as scoring some free firewood.
