I bought an 046 from a trusted friend. Everyone that seen it knew what it was and would always comment on it. Well I let ankther friends work on it. When I got it back it just didn't feel right. Like something was off. Cand anyone tell me anything about this serial number?

All that shows is 1998 plus minus a year and Germany on the online search.

Maybe get a stihl tech to run the number for ya. Will show more.

Need whole saw pic and maybe the part number etc.

What do mean by”something was off” ? Do you feel like you didn’t get the same saw back? Parts changed? Show it to the guy you bought it from. Does it run good, better? Why did you have it worked on?
