Might be good news on the surface, but ultimately YOU will now be subsidizing it. YOU means all of us. Probably a win for the SYP farmers in the south though, because they will get a raise.

We are subsidizing it either way. I would rather someone get government money from working than sitting at home getting unemployment.

The loggers from Quebec would jump the border and underbid the Maine operations because they were getting gov't subsidies. They were directly putting Mainers out of work because of the practices.

This will ultimately benefit Weyerhauser either way.
