I want to sell it, my brother doesn't. We have a ported 260, a stock 360, a 441 and I'm getting a 660 today for milling. I want to sell the 441 to offset the cost of the 660. I have a guy willing to give me $650 for the 441 (non M-Tronic). I feel that is a no-brainer. If he's considering that, I'd say let's sell the 441, send the 360 and 660 to be ported and forget that big bulky saw anyway.

Any thoughts?

360 is sentimental so I wouldn't be as inclined to sell it. I wouldn't get close to $650 for that saw though.

Actually I think I just answered my own question. I'd rather have a ported 360 over a stock 441 and then to have the option to port the 660 with the large chunk of change I would get for the 441 would be my decision.

I'd say you're on the right trail. A ported 360 cuts wood equally as well as your stock 441 and it's sooo much lighter/smaller. A ported 441, different story!

What condition is the saw? I also have a 441 , like new condition. I wouldn't sell my 441 for that low of a price.

Very good condition. I paid $650 for it brand new with a 28" bar. Stihl dealer from Rochester knew he would never sell it and just sold it to me for that price. I'm getting a 2 year old 660 that looks to be in great shape with some scratches is all for $600. So, selling the 441 for $650 and buying a 660 for $600 today.

Oh no we split it. I just said I paid when I meant we paid. We decided it was worth selling. I picked up a very very nice 660 for $600. Barely used at all
