Wanted: Partner 5000

Looking for Partner 5000, Jonsered 490 or Poulan Pro 325. Whole or parts. The cheaper the better.

i cant help you bruiser.. but i do know why you want it.. that 500 dans got can be made about as good as any stock saw ive owned.. never owned the 5000. but
i suspectwith some work the 500 will equeal it .. jmo.. dang good out the chute.

P50

Are P50's any more desirable than the average old saw? I have a couple that would be "Parts" but mostly complete.

you can use a cylinder for a 50 husky also but it's open ported.

can use a jons 490 cylinder if you mod the case. more cc's

Interesting... I was under the impression that they were basically the same saw with the same bore and stroke (?)

490 has a bigger bore. same stroke.

I believe the Hva 50/50R, had many interchangeable parts with 500/5000.

Here's a real nice Partner 5000, but you can't have it.
Unless of course you want to part with 400 U.S., but I'm sure you don't want it that bad.

The partner 500 saw ya'll are talking about, is it the same as a Pioneer/Partner 500. I assume it is but not for sure. So these are good saws?
