I think West Coast Long Bar Disease is spreading....

Is a 25" bar too much for an MS 310? For regular use under normal circumstances, I wouldn't even think about it. BUT... In softwood (Fir to be exact) with a muffler mod, skip chain, and the rakers at .025, I think it would pull it just fine. My main concern is the oiler. Can the stock oiler on a 310 keep up with a 25" bar? Any opinions?

Wait till Sawtroll finds this thread.LOL The 310 i run a while had a 20 on it and it never bogged in red oak.

HA! I can hear him screaming all the way from Norway!

I typically run 20" RSK. Since it's been broken in and modded, I haven't noticed the slightest whine from it.
