Isn't that piston from one of those carving saws? You know the ones the cut all those curves.

No, it's from the new state of the art saw with the radiused cylinder. You might not have heard of it, it's still in the experimental phase of production.
Another one of those quality rods from a Stihl homeowner saw. I'd say it's from a MS210 or 230. I think the 250 got a good rod.
MS230 and MS250 both use the same forged crank.
So the 210 is the largest with the tin foil rod?
i would just heat it up and bend it back iin shape and run it
