What are the pros/cons of square grind chain?

I recently tried a square skip tooth with a 28" bar on a 660. It cut faster and stayed sharper longer than any other type of chain I've used. I was impressed but I couldn't sharpen like factory.

Here is a old video of my first sq grd chain off the Pro Sharpe cuttin some pine. If I remember correctly this chain was originally a Oregon LP. The saw is a 385xp with a muff mod.
