What are these logs??

Came across these logs and need help identifying. My guess is either red oak or English walnut
Anyone have any ideas?

Well it aint cedar or pine or walnut or poplar or maple or hickory or gum, so I will go alone with swamp oak lol

Long time since I lived east of Mississippi but how about ash. See if you can find a dead leaf lying about.

Could be because of the wet weather we had here but the heartwood looks very dark reddish brown. Is swamp white oak like that? I’ll get some more pics tomorrow

need a straight on shot of the end grain and a side shot of a split piece along with a smell-o-gram. I have changed my mind 6 times on this one. Any type of oak should show rays perpendicular to the growth rings

With the brown heart and white outer rings and even the bark makes me think it’s walnut. But won’t bet the farm on it.
