BP Silver (89 octane) mixed 40:1 with Poulan Synthetic 2 Stroke oil. Being relatively new to the world of chainsaws and firewood, I use this based on all the reading I've done here, and it works great.

I use only the cheapest no name gas with ethanol and throw some bar and chain oil in it. No need to messure! Just don't look at my signature below.

Agreed. Use the best fuel you can get as its most likely less expensive than what repairs down the road will cost.
I'm also becoming a fan of the canned fuel. Makes a lot of sense if you don't go through large volumes of fuel in a short time.

Premium because that's the only non-ethanol pump gas locally and sometimes it sits for a while. Got some Ultra with my new leaf blower that I'm finishing off and then going to Amsoil because I like to support a Wisconsin based company and it is easy to find, but any full synthetic for air cooled equipment is O.K. in my book at 50:1
