What Is The Strangest Thing You Have Hit In A Tree?

about 9 or ten years ago i lost the crowbar couldn't remember where i put it turnes out i put it in a split in an oak that grew over it found that a year ago when clearing around the house

truckload of yellow jackets,dad cut the tree down,started blocking and about the second cut they started.

rocks,cement,bricks,iron ore,pvc,hose,hose bib,pipes,fence,fence posts.
all kinds of steel,cans,bottles,lots of kid toys,glof balls,tennis balls,
nails,spikes,screw eyes,cable,wire rope,thearded rod,rebarb,all kinds
of chain,wire,horse shoe,kid shoe's,bolts,and some other stuff i dont
rember right now, after 40 years of this its hard to rember it all

Old Cherry Tree grew around the post it was about 4ft. long I hit it three times before I went high enough to miss it.:bang:

Raccoon, me too, though the thread is about what strange things you've hit in a tree, I didn't hit these guys.

I had the camera sent up, took a pic, showed it to the clients and we decided we can finish the job in another 6 or 8 weeks from now, which we did.

I took the whole top out of the tree and was working my way down the trunk with the 395 when I saw them. I'm amazed they didn't wake up.

It was a good save.
