Wondering what kind of tree this is it was cut down a while back and I have some of the wood from ituploadfromtaptalk1445627093348.pnguploadfromtaptalk1445627384469.jpg

I can't tell, skinny leaves but not enough detail even enlarging the pic. Did it start out real heavy and dry to popcorn light? Someone from out there needs to comment, doesn't look much like any east coast tree other than maybe a willow, but I wouldn't think a willow would grow at all anyplace with little to no regular rain.

its relatively heavy hasnt completely dried out yet was cut maybe a few months ago its a major pita to split though.

Father-n-law was looking at it today and said it is eucalyptus kinda what I figured but everyone around me thinks they are an expert and all said it's something else

Good work chippy & derwoodii.

I couldn't put my finger on it, knew the bark and the appearance of the wood in the heap but don't have much to
do with P/mints.
