I want to get a walbro carb for my 260 pro so I can mod it some.
Looking at the walbro 194.
My question is, what is the difference in the 194 and the 194-1?

Don’t know what the “1” signifies, but it will work just fine.

You will have to swap the metering cover on the carb with the old one if it’s a 260 or late 026.

You can also leave it alone and plug the Comp hole in the AF with glue and a foam ear plug.

Okay that's good news because the one with the "1" is quite a bit cheaper. I thought I would just block the intellicarb function off. Still undecided on that part.
Thanks for the response

The Walbro rep says that the -1 is applied to any part number that is put in a (retail) box!

The 194 is a full adjustment range carburetor and can be somewhat finicky to tune. The 426 doesn't have as much range but is easier to tune. The 194 doesn't come with the compensating snorkel. The 394 does or you can swap the metering cover and make a 194 into a 394.
