Where are Husky`s build?

I have 2 Husquarna Chainsaws a 136 (smallest consumer line saw from Husky) it is made in USA at least it says that on the manufacturer plate - it is more or less completely the same saw as my Johnsered 2036

My other Husky is a 346 XP and it has a manufacturerplate that only states that it is a Husquarna manufactured by Husquarna, Husquarna Sweden - but it realy dosent say that it is build in Husquarna Sweden (or in Sweden for that matter) - anyone knows where the Husky`s are manufactured?

The 346XP is manufactured in Sweden. The 136 is manufactured by Poulan for Husqvarna here in the US.

The two cheapest consumer saws (at any given time) have been made by Poulan in the US, all others have been made in Sweden, since about 1990.

Before that, some cheap consumer models were made in Canada (Frontier/EMAB) and Germany (Solo) as well.
