Which husky is this?

Gday , first post on this awesome site . Its a wealth of information none of which is a cure for CAD unfortunately but cheers to all of you anyway for the tips and advice.

looks kinda like a 50.

Looks like it may be an oleo-mac, not sure what model. They are made under the Efco name now I believe.

The high top air filter cover leads me to believe it is on the larger side of cc displacement. It's not a Husqvarna.

Edit: Member rburg is correct on it being an Oleo Mac.
It is at least a 962 up to a 981.

Yeah, so did a bunch of other saw manufacturers. Even the German ones.

Cheers for the replies, the two piece top cover had me stumped and I agree it's probably an oleo mac 956 or similar. They aren't very common here in New Zealand so I'm not sure how easy parts are to come by.

Parts are an issue for a few saws I own, but I get around that problem by owning 20 saws.........

Yeah, so did a bunch of other saw manufacturers. Even the German ones.

I was under the impression one of the better known German marks stole some 'murican ideas too. In return hey did give us jets and rockets though.

I think we got ripped off.
