Which Photo Do You Like Best?

I've been playing around with some photo's from a European vacation and using Photomatics HDR software to merge several images into one image. The results can be dramatic but not to everyone's liking. Here's two examples from the same image. I'm on the fence as to which is "better". One is artistic while the other is photographic. All opinions are welcome as to which one is better or maybe you'll like neither. :cool2:

It's kinda like ford vs Chevy - Stihl vs Husky

In my field of work three years ago everyone jump on HDR and that's about all the sprint car picture you can get or see

IMO; I don't like HDR I feel it takes away from the picture

I like tonmapped pictures, but this is too much.

I like the first one. I think the contrast is too high in the second. The brights are overly bright for my taste and it looks to me more like CGI rather than a real photo an intentionally altered photo.
