Why i set the chain brake when walking

If I am not cutting, the brake's on (snap of the wrist). That's the way I was taught, and now it's unconscious habit.

:computer: Guys ever get tripped up by a small limb laying flat on the ground when the other end is up against something like a tree root, stump, rock, etc?
Just your toe against the end in a full get-er-don mode?

Talk about a quick, nothing you can do but hope the chain break is set, scary ride to the ground in a hurry.
