Will this rope be good for a climbing line?

Hi, I am looking at rope that I would use for a climbing line, maily for lowering down using a blake's hitch for now. I am very new to tree climbing and was wondering if this would be a good rope, it is UIAA CE EN1891 standard so it should be good right? I will leave a link to the rope down below.

Well, it's a little small... most arborist lines are 13 mm. Being a caving static line I also worry it may be a little stiff to hold a Blake's well. I'm guessing you already own it? Short answer is if you already have it, give it a go... low and slow at first until you have confidence your hitch will function reliably. If you haven't purchased it yet, then you will be way happier with an arborist rope.

Hi, haven't purchased it yet but, it was just one I could find that was the right standard, will keep loking tho. Thank you for the advice.

Yes, all ropes are not created equal. A good lifeline is the right size to grip easily, works with other gear, has just the right amount of stretch, and most importantly holds knots well.
