Has anybody tried this? I want to heat my 28 foot camper with wood but cant seem to find much info. One I did find was this but it seems kinda chintzy. One thing I did like was it is mounted on the wall and has pretty tight clearances to combustibles. I think the heat output would be sufficient as the heater installed is A 20,000 BTU model. The thing I like about the wood heat is its putting out continuous heat for free and the propane furnace is always sucking the money out of my pocket.

where the pound symbols are replace with ####, ok that didn't work they must think it's a dirty word. It really is a legit website ok let me try it this way www di## and then ##ck sorry for the hassle on the link but they wont let me post it right. its an all stainless steel marine stove, yea for a boat.

My Dad have a cylinder wood stove in a hunt trailer.

Wood is fantastic on cold wet, good hunting kind of weather.

Set up and split up stack of dry wood and you can dry out from your days hunt.

He have a inferred heater for use during the day when no one is around.

Check out outfitter stoves to get a few ideas.
