I've got some pictures of the transfers of a 359 knocking around here somewhere. This picture only tells part of the story, but if you look on the right side you can see how I am trying to push the fuel/air over the intake.

Great pic, really good detail, but to a noob, so your trying to block the lower holes partially or completely? I take it its a work in progress? (sorry but im just taking apart my 66 magnum and have blown up my dremel doing my first worksaw, so am still learning all this.)
 
To help with orientation, the cylinder is upside down and the intake is on left side.

I am attempting to bend the flow into the shape of the number 7. 7

What you can't see is the left side of the transfers. How it is directed.

Maybe that helps. I am not attempting to block any flow. FWIW this is a shot when I ws 95% complete. I don't "pretty up" the transfers.
