I have looked on Acres site, but no cross reference that I see. I did a search, but had no luck. A guy brought one in for me to look at, but he ended up messing up the carb gaskets and maybe the intake elbow. Lots of JB and silicone.

What is the Echo model for this saw? Can a person get parts like that from a dealer or do I have to look at finding them used?

The saw does not have the metal echo id tag on it. The only rebadged Echo to JD I have seen still had a Echo tag. Betting it is a 500 or 510evl which are pretty much the same saw at least by appearance.

You mean JD 51SV and hanniedog is right one of the two...Bob
 
If you don't have the (terrific!) Echo xref chart handy, some of the rebadged saws have the Echo equivalent on the inside of one of the side covers ..
