This is my first muffler mod so I need assurance that this is somewhat close to a good tune.

Here is what I pulled out of the muffler.

Here is the plug after a 5 minute run.

Video of first run after pulling the limiter and richening up the carb. It is snappier and seems to pull harder.

When you hit that point that you realize
some of the neighbors are asking your opinion on their stuff,
it gets to feeling a little better.

I would 'richen' the carb a bit more it were me..just my opinion on viewing plug.

Nothing to lose..you can always 'lean' it back down if necessary.

Thing is..you don't run a pole saw at WOT like you do a chainsaw.

That's what I was thinking. 1/4 turn out and it still revs nice and feels strong.

I wonder how that would compare against a Stihl ht101, ht131, or ht250. If the cluthc and chaft would handle it a ported plesaw woud be quite the thing.

I think Blsnelling put a more aggressive chain on his pole saw and had it tuned up. It seems like it had issues of being grabby, basically lost some of its smoothness. Pole saws are supposed to be slow cutting for a reason I think? But, what's the fun in that?! Maybe I should send this little power head off to someone to work their magic.
