Hi,

I bought a house in New Jersey and it came with these trees that look like pines but I can’t identify them.

Also, I don’t know what’s wrong with them and how can I fix them.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Erick

Look like Alberta Spruce to me. Not much you can do with them once they are large except start over.

Dwarf Alberta Spruce, problems you see commonly on them are mites or snow loads that pull the branches apart. Being such slow growers any gaps in the foliage take years to close up exposing the bare inner branches (which is normal, not a disease or insect problem).
