    Sold 357XP woods ported

I would have no interest in the bar. I would open up transfers. Add a popup and run 24" bar if timing hasnt been touched. It is tough when someone already modified it, but compression # would help me decide.

Is this still an original 357 cylinder? Is there any transfer work or just smooth beveling the exhaust?

I have the 100cc one its a 153. I love that saw. And two 133's a super and a standard. They are the 85cc version.

They interchange. I think the 003 was intended for the 343 concrete saw so it had thicker rings where the 143 had thinner rings. I could be wrong, but i do know they interchange without any issue. And both were for dolmar.

031132003 is a 143 piston, 031132001 is also. Neither is makita specific.as far as i know they are both 2 ring. I think one is thin ring and one thick ring. They interchange.

I had a bearing and drive company right by me when i did mine. They were able to identify the manufacturer and measure to get the right ones. It took a week to get them in and cost me 20 bucks.

The bearing manufacturer is f.a.g. of germany. If you find the part # on the bearings and search by that, you will find them way cheaper. By the original maker. I have bought from the ebay guy and he is a good place to find impossible parts but it gets expensive. If you cant see the # on the...

I always go nos on dolmar bearings. Never had a failure. I have two 133's one is a super and one standard. They run great with a custom muffler, no base gasket and a slight port widening.

    McCulloch Chain Saws

Still starts hard but it is about 50% better. I know the cylinder has been worked on and its likely the result of that. The qport doesnt take well to porting. It cuts strong. Just a little flaky on the start. Far more reliable than it was. Thanks for your help.

Close on that one. The new intake didnt fit right after running a bit. The bottom where it goes on the plastic block was being swelled out of round. I trimmed a little off the outside of the base of it and rtv on it and its much better. Still a weird issue though. Improved quite a bit though. I...
