Thank you. I appreciate the effort.

    Dolmar 7900 porting

What is wrong with improving performance, for somebody that wants better than stock power without having to buy a larger saw?

    Dolmar 7900 porting

They do tend to gain well.

    Echo CS-490 or CS-4910 or ?

Once ported they end up very close in power, but the 490 is rpm limited too

    Considering Muffler Modding ECHO CS620PW

I like removing the small lower deflector and adding a couple of small 1/4-3/8" holes in the flat part under the stock deflector.

Stihl Ms362 and 400 air filters.

Little gain in power. I'll have to try a dirty test sometime.

    Scrounging Firewood (and other stuff)

Was in my homelite c7 video. Don't sell them yet.

    Scrounging Firewood (and other stuff)

Mine is a housing with a 1 way bearing with a 3/8 drive for a socket. Same could apply to a starter hub, drill spins and as the engine fires it will over run the bearing.

Echo 620pw or the new 7310???

1128 boot, but they are a bit short. If you are heavy handed you may have issues with it peeling off the cylinder. Might want to look into a longer option if you have others sitting around to check.

    Easy big gains for CS-590?

Fast chain will win every time. But more power is always more power. I'd say it is probably 50/50 A good sharp chain will extend saw life as much as anything.

    Easy big gains for CS-590?

I have had 15k+ out of the 620 coil bit no real power is made up that high.

    Dyno tuning service

Not many unless you are building the saws at the same time. Shipping 35-70$ each way plus a 40-60$ dyno charge adds up in a hurry. If you have any dyno questions let me know. I will try and help you learn from my mistakes.

    Echo 590 Timberwolf "H" setting

As a stock saw. Once ported they have a hard time leaning out enough. That is the reason for the nozzle swap.

    Dolmar advice needed.

That was the old data system all done by hand. New system reads about 7% lower. I'll be getting some more dolmars on the dyno soon. The 13k "drop" isn't really a drop, it is the climb. Pulls are made from high rpm to low. Just like cutting. 13k ish is where the saw tune was and I started...
