Your in Michigan, head to any small engine shop and I am sure they will have one. Might be Toro, Ariens or other snow blower manufacturer but will work just fine. Stihl ones are reasonable but unlikely to be in stock.

No cheaper place to get one of these. Considering what has already been done it is a bargain. Good seller / person to deal with.

There is a difference between stopping production and stopping importation. New production 361’s are available in many international markets including Mexico and parts of Asia.

Tim, I was think g about this some more today, I am not sure the 2253WH version was ever in the USA. I remembered a conversation with Tree Monkey a few years back when he was still a dealer and the only WH available was the 2172. Might have to look at someone like @Tor R getting one in Europe.

Matt @Saiso is French speaking, maybe he could call and find out if they are willing to ship. If they would ship to me I could handle the cross border logistics.

@Saiso you should be talking to this guy and finding out how far away he is. Rumour has it that despite his screen name he's really a Stihl head and might be willing to let something go to you. I would trust anything you got from him.

Where in NB are you? Which dealer are you talking with? Watch Kijiji like a hawk, good saws do shop up on occasion. I won’t buy East coast saws anymore due to humidity and salt water issues. If I can’t see them in person I can’t check the nooks and crannies for rust/ rot. Talk to Mike as...
