Want to Buy McCulloch 170 Arc Welder Leads

2/0 is overkill for your application but would still work. Other than the higher cost of copper for the larger diameter wire it would be fine. I don’t know what ends your welder accepts tho so can’t comment on if it will plug in and work if that makes sense.

Want to Buy McCulloch 170 Arc Welder Leads

Sounds about right lol welding ain’t cheap. Amazon seems to have better prices haha. Also a hot ground clamp doesn’t necessarily mean you have an issue with the welder. You could have just picked a bad spot for ground lol you can usually tell by how it’s welding if your having issues

That is a very cool find! There’s charts online for gauge thickness if you wanted to make your own. I watched this video and it’s basically how I’d make a welding lead.. Youtube video

SOS. MS440 refuses to do anything.

Bad fuel line maybe? I’m not all that good at this game but possibly it’s not getting fuel. Storing fuel in the tank doesn’t do the lines any good. If it’s real squishy then it could be collapsing.

Want to Trade LF: top handle cover for Stihl 020av

Hey! Building a 1980 Stihl 020av. Bought a large quantity of parts but still missing this one part to make it complete. Looking for the top cover of the handle. It has the operator presence lever with it. Im in no rush as it’s gonna take me awhile for restoring but wanted to put the word out...

    Guess that part

Sorry, forgot to mention that. I knew that the cover was from a husky because of the made in Sweden on the inside. The part number didn’t lead me anywhere in Google tho. The paddles don’t have any markings.

    Guess that part

Hey all, recently picked up a couple boxes full of Stihl 020av parts and a mostly complete saw. Found a couple parts that I don’t think belong in the mix. Believe this one is a heated handle on/off switch from a 346xpg (looked at some Google images). Can anyone tell me if it’s the same one...

    looking for a different saw

Heard good things about echos. I had a blue makita ea4300 (same as a dollar ps421) Light saw and super easy to start. Ran great for me, I muff modded it and took out the cat. Sold it too a tree service guy. Ran into him about 6 months later. Said it was still his go too small saw.

    A build question

Thanks for the offer dude! but maybe I wasn’t clear on what I was asking. I personally don’t care if the case says ‘257’ Lol What is your personal preference? Could you rebuild a 262 on a 257 case or what that bother you?

    A build question

Hey all. Haven’t made a post in awhile. Been picking at a complete restore of a Husqvarna 262xp. Pretty much all done cleaning every part and waiting for parts to start assembly. Had 4 saws disassembled and used all the best parts to make into one. I have two of the best crankcases saved. Have...
