    Crank Shaft Oil Seal Puller

    Suggestion. Remove wing bolts and install T-27 5mm Torx screws. You can push the wings out harder. Suggested to me from the top STIHL Tech. Larry. HOS

    Clutch question

    Check that the worm gear turns with little resistance. Do this by removing drum and reaching past clutch with pick or screwdriver to turn wire. If bushing has moved, it may bind when clutch is tightened down, but be free when clutch is removed.

    Check worm gear bushing is still centered and not moved. This can bind clutch drum.

    Is it me, or is the Stihl crank seal puller tool junk?

    Remove wing bolts. Can't get them tight enough sometimes. Install torx head screws. Much better control on tightening.

    I was fortunate enough to have John stop by House-O-Saws for a visit. We had many laughs. I bought two 090's from John. One went straight to Ken Dunn for porting and the other is still in the box. Thank You John. Rest in Peace. Larry.
