    395xp choke issue

Goofy question, but it seems like that hole goes to the AV springs. The screw just goes in about 3/4 of the way and spins, it never grabs anything, is there a nut inside the spring?

    395xp choke issue

Here’s what I found. The pics were taken chronologically as I disassembled it, hopefully they load in that order. Up until now I haven’t done anything further then take the air filter out to tap it clean. I noticed the screw was missing on the front of the cover, and I tightened the side...

    395xp choke issue

Will do. What should I be checking them for… other than if they are present? I don’t think the handle broke because I was holding it in, I think it broke because the angle of my hand while cutting would push it up if it popped out and I went to push it back up before it stalled. Sort of bent...

    395xp choke issue

Hello all, Was running a 395 XP yesterday and got through about 7 of 10 cords of logs, and the choke lever started coming out on its own while in the cut killing the saw. Made it through about 2 more cords using the back of my hand to hold the lever in, but unfortunately the lever snapped. Any...

Anybody using a Wood Mizer splitter?

Kiwi, What do you consider the advancements needed? I have not seen any competitors that have that open design. Waltzie

Want to Sell Supersplit HD $3,000

No, because I have an Eastonmade with a 6 way wedge. I am routinely getting rounds that are 48” + in diameter. The Eastonmade eats them for lunch. Prior to getting the Eastonmade, we were using the supersplit after noodling once or twice, but my goal was to reduce noodling/handling.

Want to Sell Supersplit HD $3,000

Due to its three legged stance, a hydraulic winch would just cause it to tip over. One of the benefits of the supersplit is it’s light weight. Eastonmade does make a high speed hydraulic splitter. It kind of fits the bill for what your describing. @eastonmade

I only have a 6way. I am contemplating getting a box wedge. Sorry, no videos we always forget while splitting.
