Ya this is the second one I have had…I’ll keep it just because, but for whatever reason it just never impressed me….it would be a great one saw for all around use…I use it just to keep fresh gas in it, but that’s about all…

Are the newer 362s a lot better that the 8-10 year old standard carb….i have one that wears a 20” bar….now that I have the 261 and 461 I never use it….i damn sure can’t imagine running a 25 bar on the 362, exspecially buried in hardwood…

But they still have parameters they are supposed to go by…if the temp and humidity is at a certain level they aren’t supposed to spray

Absolutely the 24d is terrible they are only supposed to spray under certain conditions… Maybe 4-trees, ya some things are damn near priceless to plant people…just like if you ran into someone motorcycle, smashed their chainsaw, etc, but it’s just a tree so they don’t care pisses me off...

I know a lot of good farmers have worked with them for years but these people spraying so t give a **** if it’s tornado winds high temp and humidity or what, they just let it rip…..and none of the **** is “ok” health wise for ya….

Of course it all makes sense, these people all in bed together…

Did you ask the AG people what you can do next, like getting trees replaced or anything???

The problem is 2-4 d….the contract out sprayin the the dumb bastards apart g don’t give a **** about nothing but getting done…iv had fruit trees killed…if it ever happens again I will try to get ahold of someone…thing is people don’t understand it ain’t even about the money as much as the time...

I wouldn’t run a 20 on a stock 261 unless for reach of limbing…surely a your ported 261 would easily handle a 20”….

That 261 of yours should walk the dog with a 20”…I got a bone stock 261c that does great with an 18”… The 18” works on the 250, but obviously it ain’t a speed demon…have to have the chain proper and let her eat not dog in..

Sparks will happen, more so with wet or different kinds of wood….Keep eye on on the temp of water, it it just kicked off and you go to load the stove, if you take your time, the water temp is still on the rise, and eventually will over heat…just got to get to know her, and what makes her tick…

Get a blade for your trimmer, then you don’t have to bend over I use one for decorative grass, roses, a lot of things actually….on eBay you can get 2-3 for cheap!!
