    5 Series XPG Question

I don't have much time on the 592XP yet. Soon I will be bucking 3 large oaks at my property up north and might give it a go on a mill. Yesterday I ran it for the first time and it did seem stronger and faster than my old 390XP.

    5 Series XPG Question

Hi Everyone - quick question on the 5 series XPG saws. Does one handle heat more than the other? I have a 562XPG that the rear handle heats more, then I just purchased 592XPG and front handle heats more. Is this common? Thanks in advance! Mike

    I got a Blue saw...

The G660 is a beast. Here is mine, I don't do any milling just tree removal. I am a Husky guy but I prefer this over 390XP. I put on OE Husky decomp, Hyway dual port muffler, everything else Holtzforma. No issues very reliable so far... Sent from my SM-G970U1 using Tapatalk

Upper Michigan (UP) two saw plan

From the UP and not running Husqvarna? Interesting...I would take a good look at 572XPG for up there with heated handles. There is an awesome saw builder in Iron Mountain MI who has built 2 saws for me. His porting work is great and he is excellent to deal with. Sent from my SM-G970U1 using...

Any inherent design advantages to the 576 XP compared to a 372 XP.

Thanks I may give that a try!

Do you have any pictures of this modification? I need the spark screen in place for cutting national forest land.

Any inherent design advantages to the 576 XP compared to a 372 XP.

If someone could come up with a tunnel into the 5 series main PCB board and figure out a way to make them run just a touch more fuel, I believe they would run cooler and hot restarts would be much easier. I live in Wisconsin so its not even that hot, cant imagine running one of these down south...

Any inherent design advantages to the 576 XP compared to a 372 XP.

Here is the list and comments, but also note I am not recommending another brand. I am a Husqvarna fan just wish they could do a little better on the current designs. 550XP original - hot start issues, excellent fuel economy 550XP Mark 2 - hot start issues, heavier than 346 555 - hot start...

Any inherent design advantages to the 576 XP compared to a 372 XP.

I understand that meeting modern epa restrictions can be a challenge but seriously with all the new technology can we get a lighter, faster, more durable saw than those of 10-15 years ago? I haven't seen one from Husqvarna. Sent from my SM-G970U1 using Tapatalk

Any inherent design advantages to the 576 XP compared to a 372 XP.

Husqvarna seems more interested in selling automatic lawn mowers than high quality saws these days. Sad but true. The 3 series XP saws will never be replaced with a better product. When manufacturers come out with a new design it should do everything the old models did plus more. Simply not the...

Any inherent design advantages to the 576 XP compared to a 372 XP.

372XP OE, not x-torq - starts pretty much every time. Extremely hot weather just after a hot saw refueling, or extremely cold just taking it out of the truck.. Dead reliable, handles like modern 60cc saw. Cuts wood like crazy, exceptional throttle response. Takes very well to simple mods. Will...

    What's everyone's favorite Husqvarna?

Thanks for the help, the spring was bad and I replaced it. It's a great saw, just got it back from porting. Any one find a spray paint the matches Jonsered Red? Krylon? Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

Working on 2171 today. Saw safety trigger interlock sticks. The top handle interlock doesn't pop back up? Any ideas? Its like the trigger doesn't want to snap back strong enough to set the interlock. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

    346xp or echo 490

Between my dad and I we have 2 346s and one 550 and a 550 mark 2. When we go cut the 346s are always 1st out of the truck. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

Pacific Energy Summit - Any Recent Experience?

Been burning a PE FP30 for 6 years. Its basically a Summit in a metal box. Burns hot and clean, no complaints. The PE removable and durable baffle is a big advantage over similar EPA type stoves. Also I have not been replacing the rear baffle gasket as I don't believe it does much. Door / glass...

    Help the EPA Restricted 572XP

Just curious if anyone has a good muffler mod figured out for the 572XP? I have one with about 15-20 tanks through it. It runs well, starts easy, and pulls a 28 in hardwood. Just curious if any mods can really wake this thing up. At this point I strongly prefer an OE 372XP to the 572XP, much...
