Read a book. 'Tree climber's companion' By Jeff Jepson to start. Then read it again. Then ask some veteran climbers. Then read it again. Start there, then work your way up to the top of the tree.

Wish I could of made it. Flooring project went into overtime and took longer than expected. Hope you guys are having a blast. I'll have to catch it next year. After all its only 20 minutes down the road .

Can't wait for Sunday. Mostly because I have a big flooring project tomorrow and a little R&R with some chainsaws will be just what the doctor ordered after a long day of misery.

New to AS. Just came across this group of threads about GTG. I'm only 20 minutes away from Scott's place. Will definitely plan on attending this years' GTG.

I'm also in the capital region/adk. Would love to hear if theres a gtg of rec climbing. Keep me posted
