What are the most valuable collector saws?

I keep all my saws in a display area. I have 1 section completed and plan to have 3 before its over. I have them displayed well to where one can visit and walk through them but there's never quite enough room for how I'd really like to have them setup.

What are the most valuable collector saws?

Stihl bdn 1953 300cc At one time I thought this to be a pretty scarce saw. Today I have a different opinion on rarity. This is still in my collection and will remain in my collection as the condition and originality of this kettensagen are quite good. This is in many countries a highly sought...

What are the most valuable collector saws?

Definitely not a chainsaw you can just plan to go find, you could literally look for years and come up empty handed. It's great to know you have one and appreciate the value behind such a oddity.

What are the most valuable collector saws?

Mcculloch 3-25 type 1 October 1949 production. Possibly the most scarce 1 man chainsaw in my collection. This saw also has some great early historical value far as 1 man chainsaw development. This is where rarity and demand do not come together as its a desirable saw to some but doesn't have...

What are the most valuable collector saws?

Contra sandcast 2nd day production Contra g Neither saw is extremely rare but being these are collected worldwide that creates high demand and with demand prices soar. This is in my opinion where demand outweighs rarity or historical value to set value on a vintage chainsaw.

What are the most valuable collector saws?

Nib stihl contra not exactly a rare saw but being nib makes it more desirable for historical reasons. This particular saw is a early diecast version and has original documents with it. The importer was TWC which was a early stihl distributor based out of New York.
