    Is there any hydraulic oil filter that might be clogged somewhere? How is the pump « knowing » that it has to increase pressure? Maybe there is some kind of safety switch on it somewhere. Ask the company who sold you the pump

    I am no expert but 35% permethrin needs to be diluted with water. This product is 1200 times more toxic to ticks than humans but it is still toxic to us.

    I found it in a pet shop. This product is nasty for the lungs apply it outside and hold your breath when you spray it

    I went back to the wood this morning. Haven’t seen a single tick. Permethrin + staying away from deer trails did the trick.

    I bought a permethrin spray at the pet shop to kill ticks on dogs. I will spray my shoes and my pants below the knees. This is the only way I can buy this insecticide in Canada. It is written to be used only on dogs on the bottle. The permethrin pants and socks are not allowed to be sold here...

    Anyone knows if for most people, Lymes disease is something the body get used too? I am freaking out a little because this is a new disease here and we are seeing lots of ticks for the last 4 days.

    It doesn’t smell anything, it is extremely dry. I will ask my uncle if he remembers what the leaves looked like

    could be bitternut hickory. Maybe because it is a young tree there was no fruits in it. The horizontal lines on the bark is another characteristic to identify it
