BC625 Chipper Air in Hydraulic system

My BC625A chipper is getting air (cavitation) in the hydraulic system. Everything seemed to be sealed between the hydraulic tank and the pump, but I replaced the hose just to be safe. Still getting air. Now I'm thinking I need to replace the pump. The Vermeer parts manual describes this as...

    STIHL 025 Oiling Too Much

OK guys, my saw is back to good again. I had an older blade on it. Today I tried a newer blade. Well, it did fine. Oiled good, traveled down the bar, and didn't sling off under the bar/sprocket cover. And it used up the right amount of oil. So I think the wide slot and the old blade was a...

    STIHL 025 Oiling Too Much

Well, I never thought of that. The .063 bar slot now measures .072 with feeler gauges, pretty much all around. The bar edge is square. It cuts fast and straight. Is .072 getting to the end of the bar life?

    STIHL 025 Oiling Too Much

The rail slot is the same all around with a slight widening at less than a quarter inch from the end. The outside of the bar is dead flat. Not sure how this might be related to a sudden increase in oil flow?

    STIHL 025 Oiling Too Much

Thanks guys. The bar oiler hole is clear. I don't think that there has ever been a metal piece between the bar and saw body. As far as oil thickness, I'm using the same rather thick bar oil from Tractor Supply, that I have used for a long time. I attached a couple pictures. Maybe their is...

    STIHL 025 Oiling Too Much

Thanks for the tip. The oil flows from the oiler hole when the saw is running with the bar removed, so not plugged. I guess the "side plate that covers the hole" in this case is the bar with it's oil port hole lined up with the oiler hole in the saw. The bar is flat.

    STIHL 025 Oiling Too Much

My tried and true STIHL 025 suddenly started pumping way too much oil, dripping in use, getting lot's accumulated under the bar/sprocket cover. It's the same cheap Tractor Supply bar oil that I always use. It's dry under the sprocket, so not an oil pump leak. It doesn't leak when it's not...
