Its an Oregon chain that I use on my Husqvarna 346XP but I dont have it in front of me to read the numbers off. Actually have two new chains so I was hoping one would fit the 260.

Recently purchased a Stihl MS260 with a 16" bar and wanted to know if the new chains I have on hand will fit. The bar and chain is .326 but not sure what the other numbers mean and dont wanna tear the sprocket and new bar up with an incorrect chain. If I remember correctly the bar has a 66 on...

Hi gang! We have a weeping pea tree that has no leaves or buds this spring but it still appears to be alive I guess, it shows light green under the bark when scratched away with my thumb, whats the deal?

Well thats a relief but why are a bunch of trees on my property drying out and dying? I seem to notice them when they havent produced leaves and have a bunch of holes all over them I guess from maybe woodpeckers???

A buddy of mine just dropped off his new Husky Rancher to me because he is unable to get the thing reassembled. He apparently took the sprocket cover off without relieving the tension on that band that stops the sprocket assembly by disengaging the brake (hope my terminology is close) and now...

Parts are starting to add up....Perhaps maybe he should just stick with the 3/8" setup and get a good chain for it???

He wants to run the Oregon 20LPX in an 18" for that 455, exactly which chain is needed and which bar, I see Husqvarna has like eight different model bars on Bailey's site (I guess even an Oregon bar will work for him)? Which one would be considered stock in .325 for that Rancher?

If my buddy converts that 455 from a 3/8" to a .325 he will need to change the sprocket as well as the bar, right?

How do you guys clean your files, I have several that don't appear to be cutting good and seem to think they are just dirty. I don't have any special file cleaning stuff around and usually just wipe with a rag but started thinking this may be a bad idea.

I really appreciate everybody's help here! Great group of helpful and knowledgeable chainsaw nuts that keep costin' me money. But I sure have been enjoyin' throwing the wood chips! :D
