What's the worst you've done to an idiot customer?

I've seen plenty of guys go back to a customers site and get payback. Guy refused to pay a local landscaper for tree removal. Landscaper went back and dumpoed the entire load of brush and logs right in the driveway. Another guy runs a dumpster trash hauling company. Customer refused to pay so he...

What's the worst you've done to an idiot customer?

Was hired to trim trees away from a number of condos. We started early, using a hand saws and pole saws so as not to wake anyone up. As we were working, one woman comes by us with her dog. "Who the f*** hired you guys?" I told her politely the property manager did. "What the f*** trees are you...

    Portland man crushed by Stump

🧐 Seems a bit odd. How does a person digging out a stump by hand bet pinned under it? Kinda like the time a guy around here dropped a tree on himself and his helper. How? I just wonder so I don't find myself in that position. Freaky things happen I guess

    What brand outlast?

Ive NEVER had any of my saws repaired unless I dropped them with broken parts. I keep them running with the factory mix, keep them clean and keep the air filters cleaned. I've never had to have them tuned or replaced or altered in any way by a tech. I have multiple 260s and 170s over the years...

What's the big deal with the big dogs?

I have a single side WC dog on my 440 for cutting low on the big tree root flares so I can cut as low as possible if they don't want to grind or pull the stump

Anyone use an F450 as a chipper truck?

Diesel 450 is plenty to work out of. I run a 350 gas V10 and it's plenty. The 6.7 is a nice strong motor and the weight capability in the 450 will do you fine. I've loaded mine with 10' pine logs up to capacity (I have a chip box on the body, up 4' above the body sides) with zero problems. My...

What are some good stump grinders for beginners?

    sg30? Maybe a sc30tx?

    probably another mistake

I'll guess at an Asplundh 12" chipper. Plenty of pics to match to for a year. The engine? Must have a tag somewhere. Numbers, stamped leters, something.

    Retirement age for arborists

Retirement isn't for me. I just went down to FLA two weeks ago to my younger brothers retirement home. He's semi retired and prepping for the day. Can't do it yet. Sitting around all day, go to the pool and then nap and then more pool then dinner. 👎 I'll be working till I die or I'm unable to...
