We work in the city a lot. Debating whether to go with"boom truck" or maybe a small AWD all terrain (very slow on highway) but very maneuverable 4 wheel steering small Grove or PH 17-20 ton crane. Anyone with experience here?

Climbhightree, what is the story with that platform with the mini skid on it? Is that a hydraulic ramp bed? Or just a fixed flatbed there Also, is that a plywood box or something to the left of your mini here?

Is it a pain in the ass getting in and out of? Like when trying to back into a tight driveway and you have to keep getting in and out of the truck to see exactly how close you are, to back it in someplace real tight!

Tenderfoot, were you saying that the mechanical ones can be made to make 250-275hp? I also have a 1986 mechanical dt466. How is it turned up to that, and still kept reliable? What do you do?
