    Firewood Processor Recommendations

I have a Blockbuster 14-12+ with some modifications that I am very happy with. Takes up to a 20" log. I have extended the live deck to accept a longer log and the cylinder and frame are beefed up for bigger work. I work by myself and have zero issues processing a semi load of wood per day by...

Log splitter not starting after running out of gas while splitting

Cycle the valve both ways to relieve pressure, give it a 1 second shot of starter fluid into the air intake and give it a pull. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

    Fiskars X27 review

And I will add, the handle is damned near bulletproof. One overswing and you will get a case of bumblebees in the hands that you won't forget. Makes you think twice about your next overstrike. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

    Fiskars X27 review

I have not sharpened mine yet. Key to using it is to snap your wrist when swinging to get more speed in your swing. This works with speed, not brute strength. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

Stihl 066 Magnum got temperamental today

I bought the saw brand new in 09. I was always disappointed in its fuel economy. Had to refuel every 3 cuts when cutting thru a 30" log. Since it came back from the shop, I am getting 10 to 12 cuts out of a tank. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

Stihl 066 Magnum got temperamental today.

I was told the carburetor and muffler Saw what was taken out and put back in. Difference in part numbers on the carb and muffler is totally different. New carb is much more fuel friendly. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

Stihl 066 Magnum got temperamental today.

It came from the factory with the incorrect carburetor. Saw was branded as a magnum, but had a regular 066 carb and muffler. I will be having a discussion with Stihl on monday. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

Stihl 066 Magnum got temperamental today.

Holy crap does this saw run better now. Saw shop put the correct carb on it, a twin port muffler, new fuel filter and put a new trigger on it because it wasn't revving on start like it was supposed to. I am estimating the saw cuts 30 percent faster now. Definitely modified from stock, but Tim's...

Stihl 066 Magnum got temperamental today.

Was cutting some 36" rounds today with my 066 and when the saw got warmed up, it would bog down and lose power. It finally died all together. After it cooled down, it started back up, but idles a bit rough. Took it to the local saw shop for a diagnosis, but I have no idea what it might be. Fresh...

    Timberwolf TW-6 Near Catastrophic Failure

I have to agree with your wedge design comment. Had a tw6 and sold it when I bought my processer. The wedge on the tw6 caused me headaches. There is no need for it to be so wide at the back. If you want to learn new swear words, get a round stuck on a tw6 wedge. Sent from my SM-N960U using...

    Overflowing wood shed

We dont stack it around here. Haul it to the stove with a grapple. Only time we touch it is when we load the boiler Sent from my SM-N920R4 using Tapatalk

Central Boiler Classic 5036 Temp problem temp sensor will not shut draft door

Is the temp controller sending the signal? With all the new components, I would power down the stove and ensure the flapper door is not bound up. If it is free, double check the polarity on your connections. Odd indeed as its a very simple system. Sent from my SM-N920R4 using Tapatalk

What to look for in a processor?

Machine price has a direct correlation to speed and volume produced. I am perfectly happy with the 14-12+. Sent from my SM-N920R4 using Tapatalk
