Don't be mad at me, I'm just curios about the dogs.

Guess we've just got better control over our saws here in Europe :D (only joking matey!)

Don't be mad at me, I'm just curios about the dogs.

I would also be interested to know what the saw with the handlebar is used for? My first guess was small scrub to save bending, but why would you need dogs for that?

    Brad Snelling and the MS180?

ah my apologies, I must have missed that fight! I didn't think this would be the sort of thread that winds people up the wrong way, if that is likely please can a mod delete it before things get out of hand? I know someone who wants to port a 180 but has some questions about the fixed carb...

How do y'all your saws so clean???!!!

my saws haven't been clean since the day they left the shop - as long as the air filter is clean and everything works, I couldn't care less about mud, sap, scratches etc on the plastic!

Question from E-Bay customer about helmets.

Husky helmet for me, best helmet for ground use (not climbing) in my opinion Tried the Stihl, ear muffs let in too much noise for my liking. Tried the Oregon, you know that knight in Monty Python who has to keep holding his visor up? That's what the visor on that is like, won't stay up...

CA landowner shopping for a second saw.

forgot to say, I believe the 450 is the replacement model for the 350 so no benefit in size at all for the smaller two of the saws you mentioned

CA landowner shopping for a second saw.

I don't know much about the 460 but I'd imagine 24" is way to much bar for that saw, I could be wrong though... If I were you I'd look for a 70cc saw, if you can't afford new look for a used one. 372xp or 576xp Husky, 441 or 460 Stihl, can't remember the Makita numbers but they'd be worth a...

not a new chainsaw, but possibly better... Efco 8550 BOSS

My apologies, I had forgotten to look up the specs of the 550 - I just assumed they were pretty equivalent machines! 660/395 it is...

not a new chainsaw, but possibly better... Efco 8550 BOSS

Hi all, Well it's not a new chainsaw, but just as exciting (to me anyway) - my new Efco 8550 BOSS clearing saw/brushcutter/weed whacker arrived today! For those of you who don't use them, this is the MS880 or 3120 of the strimmer world. 52cc, 2.8hp - anything this won't go through will...

Wanna new stihl magnum, but which one?

    MS261 recall

I posted a link a while ago to said forum, and my attention was kindly drawn to the forum rules. So I don't really want to take the risk of re offending!

    MS261 recall

just saw on another UK based forum there is a recall of some MS261s, due to a problem with the needle bearing. So thought I'd post it on here, don't know if it applies internationally or if it is confined to the UK. I can't post a link due to forum rules, PM me if you would like this (saying...

Where's WYK been, and what trouble is he making?

sorry to hear that mate, I thought you'd be in jolly old England for a few months more at least! Glad to hear you've had a good time over here, stay in touch! And don't go messing that 365 up with all the ethanol you seem to get in the States :msp_biggrin:
