Rayco 1620 JR steer tire size needed

Hey all. I have a 1620 JR that needs a new steer tire. The old one is so worn out I can't quite read the size on it. Looks like 4.10x3.50x4 but I can't really tell. Could be a 5 wheel size. Any help would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks, Ben.

Want to Buy Want to buy a air filter base for 661 C

Hey all. Thanks for the advice on my last part needed. Now I need to find an air filter base for the 661 C. Searched eBay but that doesn't meant I couldn't have missed something. Used is fine as long as it isn't broken. Thanks for any help.

Hey. I have a 661C with a damaged gas tank. I replaced the tank and several other parts. I'm having trouble finding the throttle rod.l shaft. That's the plastic rod that is the kill switch and choke lever. Stihl is having trouble getting it for me and it's the only part that's holding up this...

    Sold ms 193T parts saw

I have a ms 193t top handle saw that I'm going to sell if someone's interested. I bought it slightly used. I decided to put a new top end in it. New jug, piston and ring. Got it all put together and when tightening down the bolts for the coil they kept spinning. I hadn't even begun to tighten...

MS 200T airbox cover tabs going through engine.

Hey all. I have a 200T that's about 7 years old. Never used much. After the first 10 tanks it blew up. Stihl finally fixed it and said that it's a design flaw and the tabs that hold the air filter cover on will break and go through the motor. The Stihl rep said to be very easy taking the...

    394 XP carb needed

Hey all. I'm needing to buy a new carb for a 394 XP. I ordered one from Baileys. Waited 2 weeks. Wasn't even close. Looks to be too small for even a weedeater. They said that's the only carb that will fit this saw. I just need to find a reputable place that can get me a new carb. Thanks...

    372 xp advice needed

Hey all. I'm looking at a saw comparable to the 461. I've been reading good things on the 372. Can you adjust the carb? My last 3 Stihls have the electronic carb and I hate them all. My latest 661 C is practically new but out of warranty and won't even idle. They say its the low idle...

    Anyone tree camp?

I've been thinking about getting in to tree camping some this fall. I enjoy camping anyway, why not sleep a little higher than normal. I've been researching different hammocks. The Portaledge is a bit more than I want to spend for no more than I will probably be using it for now. The...

    Top Handle Electric Saw?

My Dad recently purchased the Stihl MS 160 C BQ electric saw. I was hesitant even think about running it. Then I did. I actually liked it. Quiet and smooth cutting. I don't think it would do very well if it gets the least but dull though. It was nice not having to crank it. I'm just...

    Darker Safety Glasses Reecommendation

Hey all. I'm looking for some darker than average safety glasses. I would like 100% UV protection. Anti fog and slim style also. I don't really want big bulky glasses. My current glasses just don't seem to be dark enough anymore. My eyes are blue and pretty light sensitive. I have been...

    020T rebuild?

Is there anywhere I can get my 020T rebuilt? I bought it new in 99. It's been the best saw I've ever owned . It still runs great it's just getting a little weak. I took it to my local Stihl dealership and was told it was junk and would never run again. But here's a new shiny saw for sale...

    Intercom helmets?

Does anyone use the intercom systems on your helmets? I've been thinking about rigging one up or just buying a set if I can find one in my price range. When I'm 80 ft up and the groundman is on the tractor getting ready to pull a top, I think it would really pay off instead of hollering...

How do you keep people out?

I didn't want to hijack Jeff's thread. I can't seem to keep people out of my work zone either. A lot of times there's just two of us on the job. Me in the tree and the tractor loading brush. I specifically tell everyone during the estimate that absolutely no one is allowed within 200 ft...

    pos Stihl MS 201T

Was in the local stihl dealership about 3 years ago and the owner recommended I buy his last 200T He said the newer ones was having problems. My 020T was just fine but I bought it for a spare anyway. They serviced it and it sat in the bin of the bucket truck until this summer when my 020T...

    Rope Walker advice

Hey all. I'm in the process of figuring out a rope walker system Ddrt. I'm using the Hitchclimber setup with VT. Pantin on right foot. Croll ascender with a strap and bungee on left knee. This setup would work great if I didn't have to pull so hard to stay vertical on the rope. I have a...

Thinking about getting a handled ascender. Hands are getting a little sore after working all week and practicing all weekend working on new techniques. I think I would like a double handle but I've never used either. Any opinions of the CMI Expedition II ? Also what is the recommended...
