    Spraying japanese knotweed ratio

My neighbour had the same issue, he lives close to power lines, with zero other structures around. So he used a excavator and basically turned his yard into a massive churn pit. It worked.

What do you drive wedges with

3.5lb double pinned head, with a 18” handle. I use those aluminum scabbards…seen guys in a lot of trouble with small axes or not having it with them. It’s all fun and games until the afternoon breeze makes your tree sit back. On a side note it boils down to what your doing and personal preference.

Years ago i was a climber for a tree company out of north Vancouver...boss sent me on a job with 2 groundsmen that busted their butts..but little did I know they hated each other...I was relatively new to the company..half way through the removal job, they started throwing hands at each other...

What did you do with your chainsaw today ?

Can’t really see it in the pick but she was leaning down hill a little...but I held on the hill and got a 12’6 and 10’’1 before she lost grade.

    Good Rain Gear?

A lot of the fallers here in bc west coast..we use the helly Hansen rain gear..simple non insulated coat which weighs nothing and dries fast..and bibbed pants..some guys use the drawstring pants..cheap and they hold up pretty good for tromping around the shalal.

    Importance of clean notch

Depends on the tree species as well..let’s say Douglas fir I’ll usually 4-5” opening on a 24” tree..and let say a twisted gross maple I’d get a birds mouth in and have a massive opening..the cleaner the better.

    Falling pics 11/25/09

You’re defiantly right about the straps and the wood they hold..I got lucky on those because they’re basically standing straight and the bullet I had lined up would easily do the job..and no one likes making man made teepees out of 1oo+ ft gouty cedars.

If a guy can afford it and depends on your usages just go and buy a box of stihl light bar oil.

    MS192t service manual and repair

I had a 192 for climbing..immediately went and sold it and found 2 ms200s and never looked back..the ms200 are tough little powerhouses..if a guy can find them. Usually 5-6 hours in the Spurs if I’m not coastal falling.
