how's the piston look and compression on this little bugger? a shot w/ the muffler off would help. is your price w/ bar and chain? how much less bar and chain? any alterations to this saw?

no upgrade....sold it off as part of a move.....running a ported stihl 460 artic, taking care of my needs for now......the heated grips and carb is pretty nice would definitely buy another 390 and port it in the future, pulled a 28" w/ full comp chain in hardwood no issues

i should have said they are all 0.050 gage and .375 pitch.....had it set up so almost everything ran same chain except the really small sub 50cc saws the mount is all standard husky mount....can't recall the exact mounting dimensions.....someone wiser can help us out here Im sure! I never had...
