Want to Buy Pioneer 700 carb

Well here is what I have to work with. Haven't checked for spark. Good compression, recoil works great and everything looks good ...... with the exception of where the carb should be. I guess I need to find 2 carb bolts too .....

Want to Buy Pioneer 700 carb

This thing showed up as a parts saw with no carb, just an open void where it should be located. Nice enough to wire the reed cage to the handle though!

Want to Buy Pioneer 700 carb

Fantastic information. Thank you very much. It looks like the air supply to the carb goes through a Venturi that is actually part of the 700's handle. I can't find a schematic online so not sure if the carb will require an adapter to mount up properly. You happen to know? The air filter is...

    Poulan BP 655

Thanks for your reply. The closer I look at the piston that came out of it(which is like new) i think I am going to try and salvage it. it looks like it has taken on a small fragment of the broken ring but I cant be sure. I will try some light 600 grit to take off the burr and buy some rings...

    atom module

Does anyone know what module might work best for a McCulloch 740? Any part number would be great. Should be able to source at Napa. Mine seems to studder right now and I'm thinking this might be the culprit. Looks like it might be the crappy one as mentioned before with the lines in it...

    ignition chip

Here is the module. Saw runs but is not smooth and idles all over the map, but then when it does find a spot it likes it will idle fine. Bit of a miss but even with carb adjustments. Though time idling down sometimes

    ignition chip

You would happen to have a part number on this yellow atom module would you? I'm trying to revive a 740 and now I have the carb done I'm thinking it may be ignition. On the silver chips ..... Do you need to change the timing?? I'll post a pic of the 740. Hopefully not an air leak
